A commitment to both the communities and members we serve are at the heart of Coastal Electric Cooperative’s core values, and have been since we were founded. Coastal Electric strives to help better your community by providing economic and educational opportunities to our members.

Giving back to the communities we serve through grants and scholarships provided by the Coastal Electric Cooperative Foundation, as well as programs such as Operation Roundup, Green Power, The Washington Youth Tour, Get Charged, our Child ID Program, and Bright Ideas allows us to honor our commitment to you.

  • Get Charged - Coastal Electric Cooperative and Discovery CHANNEL are working together to educate middle school children about electricity, how it works and how to use it.
  • Child ID Program - Coastal Electric has partnered with the American Football Coaches Association Child ID program to do its part to help solve the national missing children crises by distributing Child I.D. kits to parents.
  • Bright Ideas - Bright ideas is a grant program sponsored by Coastal Electric Cooperative Foundation and Coastal Electric Cooperative that awards money to teachers for creative and innovative lessons.
